Vándorló

Was just catching up on the news at hirlista.hu and in amongst the updates on what's happening down town was the headline "Borúra derű" (sunshine after rain). Unfortunately it was only talking about the weather. Down there, there is water cannon waiting at Blaha Lujza square, Orban has had a regal procession around town, Jobbik are gathered in Erzsebet Square and the crowd reaches from Elizabeth Bridge to Astoria. Orban has begun to speak. Just as I was signing off and deciding to make something better of the day was the headline "Derűre ború" (after sun comes rain), this time a comment on the politic mess. Ah well, another national holiday and day of celebration wasted on posturing and theatrics. Democracy is far more mundane and not half as exciting.
