These stars don't mean someome is Jewish but as statements of the far right claiming to be the "oppressed Jews of today" in terms of state discrimination. Or at least that's what a Hungarian researcher on antisemitism told me last week.

Checking closer, one might see an Arpad-striped scarf and then PR's theory could be correct.
If so, it is a brilliant example on confusing messages. Using the Star of David (it has 6 points) and an Hungarian flag, which basically also could be the signature of some one telling (proudly probably) 'I am an Hungarian Jew'.
On the other hand, the Jobbik-part of the loony right normally refer themselves to as being the Palestinians, under attack from the 'jewish/zionist communists/multis'.
Normally they would not 'risk' to be identified as a possible Jew (or Muslim for that part either).

I'm afraid you're right. I didn't notice the scarf, but it seems that the newspaper that originally published it didn't either. The title of the picture was "did she get lost?" I simply translated it.

It's always nice when you can not only be informed, but also seek something new.
